HCG
Labeled fertility glycoprotein (urinary hCG / choriogonadotropin alfa) — ASIH papers are misuse context, not PE.
Editorial review:Evidence snapshot
This drawer marks papers. It is not a plan, a dose, or a source. A paper is a bounded report. It is not a protocol. Grades name the object. They are not a safety rating.
Identity lock — labeled fertility / reproductive-medicine object. Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a placental glycoprotein hormone (common α-subunit + hCG β-subunit; UniProt α-chain P01215). Pharmaceutical objects include urinary-derived hCG and recombinant choriogonadotropin alfa (Ovidrel-class) used as ovulation trigger and in selected male hypogonadotropic hypogonadism / infertility pathways. PubChem “chorionic gonadotropin” small-molecule hits are identity traps — do not badge a steroid-ring CID. hCG is not a research “peptide stack” ingredient in evidence grading. Marked separately: literature on anabolic-steroid-induced hypogonadism (ASIH) discussing hCG appears as misuse / recovery-context clinical commentary — not as performance-enhancement endorsement. This drawer marks papers. It is not use advice.
Bottom line
Approved reproductive-medicine uses (ovulation triggering; selected male HH/infertility regimens) have substantial clinical literature. Hyperglycosylated hCG is a related biochemical species in pregnancy biology. ASIH / post-AAS recovery papers describe clinical problems and endocrine management debates — they must not be read as a green light for physique-enhancing hCG use. Refuse performance-enhancement glow.

Misuse / ASIH context (not PE endorsement)
PMID 24636400 — Rahnema 2014
Tested: review of anabolic steroid-induced hypogonadism — diagnosis and treatment (includes hCG among discussed endocrine tools).
Does not show: that ASIH management literature validates physique-enhancing hCG use; marks a clinical complication pathway.
PMID 30929329 — Tatem 2020
Tested: review of managing anabolic steroid-induced infertility and related strategies.
Does not show: performance-enhancement advice; fertility-preservation/recovery medicine context.
What is not established
Any performance-enhancement or “PCT peptide” grade for hCG. That urinary hCG, recombinant choriogonadotropin alfa, and pregnancy glycoforms are interchangeable without product identity. That ASIH commentary papers are efficacy endorsements. Product identity for unregulated hCG preparations. This drawer does not provide use advice, schedules, or sourcing.
