What evidence says

Evidence snapshot

This drawer marks papers. It is not a plan, a dose, or a source. A paper is a bounded report. It is not a protocol. Grades name the object. They are not a safety rating.

Identity lock. Pinealon is the synthetic tripeptide Glu-Asp-Arg (EDR). PubChem CID 10273502; formula C15H26N6O8 / MW 418.40; CAS 175175-23-2. It is a Khavinson-line short peptide studied mainly in Russian-language aging / hypoxia / neuroprotection models. Pinealon ≠ Epitalon (AEDG); ≠ Vesugen (KED); ≠ Prostamax (KEDP); ≠ Semax / Selank. This drawer marks papers. It is not use advice.

Bottom line

Literature is preclinical and small clinical / observational program papers from the short-peptide bioregulator tradition. Reports include free-radical / viability effects in cells, prenatal hyperhomocysteinemia protection in rat offspring, hypoxia models, and polymorbidity aging series that co-mention multiple peptides. No modern multi-region Phase 3 package is assumed. Refuse anti-aging glow.

Papers

PMID 21978084 — Khavinson / Boldyrev line 2011

Tested: Pinealon increases cell viability via suppression of free radical levels and activating proliferative processes (cellular models).

Does not show: a human anti-aging RCT.

PMID 22567179 — Khavinson 2012

Tested: Pinealon protects rat offspring from prenatal hyperhomocysteinemia.

Does not show: human pregnancy indication.

PMID 18546825 — Kozina 2008

Tested: antihypoxic properties of short peptides (includes Pinealon-class framing among short peptides).

Does not show: Pinealon monotherapy human hypoxia trial.

PMID 25051764 — Demyanenko 2014

Tested: cytokine / caspase-3 regulation in old-rat hypoxia models with Cortexin and Pinealon.

Does not show: Cortexin+Pinealon as an approved combination product internationally.

PMID 26390612 — Katyreva 2015

Tested: synthetic peptides in aging patients with chronic polymorbidity and organic brain syndrome (program series; multi-peptide context).

Does not show: a clean Pinealon-only confirmatory RCT with modern CONSORT standards.

PMID 22117547 — Fedoreyeva 2011

Tested: penetration of short fluorescence-labeled peptides into nuclei and DNA interaction (mechanistic class paper).

Does not show: clinical efficacy.

PMID 23734521 — Artamonova 2012

Tested: peptide correction of neurotic disorders among professional truck-drivers (program clinical framing).

Does not show: regulatory approval outside the study jurisdiction narrative.

PMID 28509493 — Mendzheritsky line 2015 (Pinealon/Cortexin hypoxia-hypothermia aged rats) Tested: Pinealon and Cortexin on behavior/neurochemistry in aged rats under hypoxia/hypothermia. Does not show: human cognitive enhancement proof.

What is not established

Modern pivotal human efficacy for Pinealon. Interchangeability with Epitalon, Vesugen, or Prostamax. Anti-aging or “bioregulator” wellness claims. This drawer does not provide use advice, schedules, or sourcing.
