B7-33

Single-chain relaxin-2 mimetic (RXFP1) — preclinical only; refuse human cardio glow.

Editorial review:
What evidence says

Evidence snapshot

This drawer marks papers. It is not a plan, a dose, or a source. A paper is a bounded report. It is not a protocol. Grades name the object. They are not a safety rating.

Identity lock. B7-33 is a single-chain relaxin-2 mimetic / truncated B-chain derivative that acts as a functionally selective RXFP1 agonist (Hossain-line chemistry). No clean PubChem CID was locked by name search in this pack — identity rests on peer-reviewed sequence/pharmacology papers, not a monomer badge. ≠ serelaxin (full recombinant human relaxin-2) and ≠ native H2 relaxin. Human clinical efficacy trials for B7-33 are absent from this pack. No approved indication. Off-label does not apply. There is no label to be off of. Refuse human cardioprotective glow. This drawer marks preclinical papers. It is not use advice.

Bottom line

Evidence is preclinical: RXFP1-selective agonist pharmacology, vasoprotective / anti-fibrotic cardiac remodeling models in mice, and device-coating / peptide-stability chemistry. Refuse human cardioprotective glow from mouse infarction or fibrosis papers.

Papers

Primary pharmacology / RXFP1 selectivity

PMID 30155023 — Hossain 2016

Tested: single-chain derivative of relaxin as a functionally selective agonist of RXFP1.

Does not show: a human heart-failure RCT or approved indication.

PMID 30641102 — Praveen 2019

Tested: review of single-chain peptide agonists of relaxin receptors (includes B7-33-class framing).

Does not show: new primary human efficacy.

Preclinical cardiac / vascular / fibrosis models

PMID 28478069 — Marshall 2017

Tested: B7-33 replicating vasoprotective functions of human relaxin-2 (serelaxin) in experimental systems.

Does not show: human vascular outcome trials for B7-33.

PMID 32295457 — Devarakonda 2020

Tested: B7-33 attenuating myocardial infarction–related adverse cardiac remodeling in mice.

Does not show: a human post-MI therapy indication.

PMID 36753958 — Alam 2023

Tested: B7-33 maintaining cardioprotective effects of relaxin and more rapidly reducing left ventricular fibrosis in preclinical framing.

Does not show: human HFpEF/HFrEF approval.

PMID 31713411 — Welch 2019

Tested: coatings releasing B7-33 reducing fibrotic encapsulation (biomaterial / implant-fibrosis model).

Does not show: systemic human anti-fibrotic therapy proof.

Analogue chemistry (related objects — keep tagged)

PMID 37047588 — Praveen 2023

Tested: lipidated single-B-chain relaxin derivative with improved in-vitro serum stability without altering activity (related analogue — not automatically identical to B7-33 clinical claims).

Does not show: human PK/PD efficacy.

What is not established

Any human clinical efficacy for B7-33. Equivalence to serelaxin trial packages. A locked PubChem CID for UI badges. That mouse remodeling papers equal consumer “heart peptide” outcomes. This drawer does not provide use advice, schedules, or sourcing.
